When I’m lazy I fall back on skinny pants, boots and a cardigan.  I was trying to wear something more creative today but when I put it on I looked like an ice cream cone full of sorbet.  And not in a good way.  I usually ask Shawn if he thinks something looks ok and while I don’t always listen to his answer I do take it into consideration.  This morning I read the look on his face that the outfit wasn’t salvageable so I changed into this.

Yesterday Shawn and I went to to Maryland to speak and I branched out of my usual speaking attire, which is quite conservative, and wore something I loved and felt great in.  Of course I did not get a photo, but I was happy that I felt brave enough to do it.  I even got a compliment on my skirt (the tria sweater skirt).
