I’m not sure if it’s all the hype for Black Swan, but I felt like I needed to dress like a ballet dancer today. Or at least my version of a ballet dancer, the kind who is not watching her weight and goes out for lattes every day.  I don’t think there are many who fit those criteria so I guess I have to be happy with playing dress up, which works fine for me. 

I often think that the occupations we aspire to as children (ballet dancer, model, rock star, actor, even doctor or lawyer) would not be nearly what we had envisioned if we were to ever actually pursue those dreams.  I’m thrilled for the people who are happily doing what they thought they would be at a young age, but I am content to have not found my passion until I was a bit older and am still seeking out new thoughts on what I want to be when I grow up.  Maybe dressing up will help me in finding my next passion.
